Gala Dinner at Madame Tussauds

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Boys Town Jerusalem, British Friends of Boys Town Jerusalem organised a black tie Gala Dinner at Madame Tussauds, one of London’s most prestigious venues.

Over 170 guests and charity supporters attended our flagship event in May 2009 and helped raise over £47,000, an amount which exceeded all our expectations.

was the US President really thereDanny Ableson, a successful engineer in Israel, and a Boys Town Jerusalem alumnus addressed the gathering, and spoke most succinctly about how Boys Town Jerusalem had turned him into an upstanding citizen in Israel, and that without the help and assistance of teachers at the campus, he may have ended up with nothing!

A DVD which detailed the work of Boys Town Jerusalem moved all those who were assembled at Madame Tussauds, and certainly helped to increase the awareness and profile of this amazing organisation.
